Thanks for considering getting involved. We value parent feedback and input in guiding the high school towards continual improvement. »
Cyberbullying
In this technological age, computers, email, and text messaging have made our lives easier. But for teenagers and their parents alike, these advances can also make life a little more stressful. Many teens agonize over being accepted by their peers, and many teens fall prey to spreading gossip and rumors in order to be part of a certain crowd. »
Summer Women’s Club Art Camp
Jake and Elizabeth
This school year Elizabeth and Jacob each won a scholarship from the Marengo Women’s Club to attend a summer art camp. Elizabeth attended the Northern Illinois University art camp and stated her time “was a lot of fun and she improved her portraiture skills.” Elizabeth appreciated the scholarship from the Marengo Women’s Club.
Jake enjoyed the variety of activities at Eastern Illinois University and is thankful for the opportunity to meet his fellow artists. Jake received the Illinois State Women’s Club Scholarship.
It is because of the generosity of local organizations like the Women’s Club that our students have the chance to explore their talents. »
