CRITERIA FOR MAINTAINING NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY MEMBERSHIP
SCHOLARSHIP
*Maintains a minimum scholastic cumulative grade point average of B+ (10)
LEADERSHIP
*Demonstrates positive leadership in classroom and school activities
*Demonstrates dependability in any responsibilities he/she accepts
*Attends each NHS-scheduled meeting unless excused by teacher or absence from school
SERVICE
*Participates in school and NHS sponsored activities
*Participates in NHS individual service activities
*Volunteers dependable and well-organized assistance
CHARACTER
*Exemplifies positive qualities of cheerfulness, friendliness, courtesy, concern, and respect for others
*Cooperates with school rules and regulations
*Demonstrates highest standards of honesty and reliability; no incidents of cheating or intentional dishonesty
*Takes criticism willingly and accepts recommendations graciously
*Does not incur an infraction of a civil law »
