Activity Period:

This year's art show winners come to Mrs. Waldron's room- room 2502, during today’s 6th hour activity period for a picture - bring your winning piece with you!

There will be a wrestling meeting today in the auditorium during the 6th hour activity period. Anyone who plans on going out next year needs to be there.

Those individuals…male and female, interested in learning more about the 2010-11 Poms/Dance Team should come to Activity Period 6th hour today in the commons.

There is a meeting for the Video Gaming Night during today's 6th hr. Activity period in the Media Center. All students who signed up should attend, so you can plan which games & gaming systems to bring.

All students who are taking Honors English classes next year must report to their assigned rooms during 6th hour activity period today: Sophomore Honors English should report to Mr. Czerwin’s room 2508; Junior Honors English report to Mr. Peters’ room 2501; and AP English should report to Mrs. Zarnikow’s room 2503. Humanities students will receive their summer reading assignments in class.

Athletics:

Senior athletes: Tonight is the Sr. Varsity Awards banquet at the Union Village Hall Banquets, also known as Donley's. Appetizers will begin at 6:30 with dinner and awards to follow. Casual business dress is appropriate.

Attention girls track: Please turn in your uniforms and locks to Coach Tveter by Wednesday.

Boys and Girls Cross Country Runners will have a brief meeting Wednesday morning at 7:30 in Coach Meyer's room.

JV Tennis will have practice today, and will play against Woodstock on Wednesday.

Boys Track- If you are not running at Sectionals on Friday, you need to drop off your uniform, sweats, and lock to Mr. Fecarotta by Friday.

Congratulations to Tyler VanVoorhees on his 3rd place finish at #1 singles at the conference match. We finished with fourths from Frank Cusimano, Gavin Smith, and Zach Temple. Great job guys!

General:

Anyone interested in serving dinner at the Rockford Rescue Mission on Monday or this summer should see Mr. Petrauskis in room 2407.

Congratulations to these students caught being good: Kayla Bransky, Samana Carter, and Gerald Krohn.

All library books should be returned today; all books were due last Friday, but if they are returned today there will be no fine. All overdue books and fines must be turned in before the end of school, or you will not receive your report card and/or diploma.

Any summer classroom driver ed. student that has not pick up their permit application shoud do so today in student services.

There is a mandatory meeting for all Thespians involved in the play, Maybe Baby, It's You today after school in the auditorium until 4:45

If you need to take the bus after Homework Haven tonight - make sure to sign up in room 2405 by Noon today.
