Administration:
If you earned a GOLD PRIDE CARD, your exam exemption forms are available for pick up in the Administration Office. They must be returned no later than Monday, May 10th.
Guidance:
PSAE exam exemptions are due to Administration office Monday, May 10th.
Activity Period:
There will be a mandatory meeting for all students that have signed up for summer driver education classroom. We will talk about applying for permits, so you need to be on time to get through all the material. The meeting will be in the auditorium during 5th hour activity period.
Junior class officers will meet during 5th hour activity period Tuesday in the administration conference room.
Athletics:
Senior Varsity Athletes: Don't miss the banquet for all senior varsity athletes and their families on May 18th, 6:30 at the Village Hall in Union. All varsity sr. athletes will receive their varsity plaque. Academic awards will be given as well as other special recognitions. RSVP's are due in the athletic office by Friday, May 7th.
Congratulations to Katie Adams who won the 1600 meter run at conference last night, as well as Allison Rogutich who also won the triple jump. As a team the girls placed 3rd overall. Awesome job girls!
There will be a volleyball informational meeting during 5th hour activity period on May 11th in room 1406. Any girls interested in trying out for volleyball next school year needs to be there. If you are unable to attend see Coach Czysz.
General:
HOSA's third annual Bean Baggin' 4 a cure is Saturday at 10 am. Come on out and play some bags have some concessions and listen to some music. $30 per team of two and there will be cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Proceeds will go to March of Dimes and HOSA. This event is open to the community.
Mother's Day is coming up this weekend. Buy your mother a beautiful cookbook for only $10 and support SkillsUSA at the same time. Cookbooks will be available to purchase during the lunch hour this Thursday, during lunch. A preview of the cookbook can be seen in student services, guidance, the administration office, the athletic office or the district office.
Have you been ATC'd yet? ATC stands for "Artist Trading Card" and it is the latest craze in the art world. MCHS art students are passing out their own ATC's on which they have created miniature pieces of artwork - extending a personal invitation to you to attend the annual "Evening with the Arts" on Monday, May 10th. The art show begins at 6pm followed by the concert at 7pm. This year's art show judge will be former MCHS student Josh Peter, who recently graduated from NIU with a degree in illustration. Get ready to be ATC'd by an art student today!
